Learning . . . "If we teach you to learn and give you an appetite for learning we will have succeeded in our work together." Milo A. Rediger, Ph. D. These word of the academic dean of my Taylor University, my undergraduate college, fell on my ears as a freshman our first-week of orientation, but ring in my ears decades later. He succeed. These skills laid a foundation for appropriating an extraordinary array of material. Mastery of concepts demanded by a fast-changing world. Mastery required to meet a broad range of interests and client needs. Graduate education has helped me build upon that liberal arts foundation, too. Intellectual development, advanced research skills, self-directed learning, up-dating concepts and practitioner methods, and a broadened and deepened knowledge have been constructed naturally on that foundation.
